Easy Buttermilk Biscuits
These buttermilk biscuits are flaky, buttery and so fluffy with an elegant finish of fresh herbs at the top.

Flour Butter Buttermilk Eggs
Salt Baking Powder
Add the dry ingredients with pieces of cold butter in the food processor and pulse.
Place flour mixture in a large bowl, add buttermilk and mix with a wooden spoon.
Transfer the dough to a floured surface. Fold with your fingers until a dough ball forms.
Flatten the dough into a 9x6 rectangle. Divide the dough into three parts like shown here. Place the 3 parts on top of each other.
Flatten the dough again into a 6x9 rectangle and cut using a round cookie cutter.
Add decorative herbs if you like and brush with egg and arrange in a baking sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees F until golden on top.
