Equipment

  • Air fryer

Ingredients

  • 10oz Frozen sweet potato fries half a bag
  • Oil for brushing, you can also use an oil spray IF you have aluminum basket. Check details below.

Instructions

  • If you are using an air fryer with an aluminum basket, brush the basket with a little oil first so the fries won't stick. This step is not required if you have a non-stick basket and it can actually ruin the non-stick coating if you do it.
  • Place the frozen sweet potatoes in the basket and do not cram your basket making sure to leave space around the fries for best results.
  • Place the basket in your air fryer and set your air fryer to 400F.
  • Air fry for 6 minutes. Using tongs turn the sweet potato fries over then air fry again for 5-7 minutes until crispy to your liking.

Notes

  • Do not thaw the frozen sweet potato fries before placing them in the air fryer.
  • Frozen sweet potatoes come pre-seasoned  so there is no need to season them more.
  • If you are using an air fryer with a non-stick basket, do not spray or brush with oil.
  • If you are using a basket style air fryer then air fry for 12-15 minutes shaking the basket every 5 minutes.
  • New to your air fryer? Until you get familiar with your air fryer, I recommend you start checking the fries 2 minutes before the cooking time ends to  make sure they will not get burnt.
  • It is better to consume sweet potato fries immediately, they will get softer as time goes by.
Storage
  • Store cooked leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
To Reheat
  • Air fry your refrigerated sweet potatoes on 400F for 2 minutes.
