Puff Pastry Chocolate Croissants Recipe
A delicious treat made easy with the help of puff pastry. Done in 30-minutes these chocolate croissants are a crowd pleaser and the perfect end to any meal.

1 large baking sheet
1 parchment paper
- 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
- 1 egg lightly beaten with ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 oz chocolate 40g
- Flour for dusting
Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Lightly dust your working area with flour, unfold the puff pastry sheet over.
Lightly dust a rolling pin with flour and roll your puff pastry sheet into a rectangle.
Cut the pastry sheet into 16 triangles as shown.
Place about two teaspoons of chocolate on the wide edge of one triangle.
Roll from the wide side then bend the edges inwards a bit do form a croissant shape.
Place on the baking sheet and proceed with the remaining triangles.
Brush top with egg and bake for 20-25 minutes until top is golden.
- Use any chocolate you like, or a mix of chocolate.
- Use a sharp knife or a pizza cutter to cut the triangles.
- Melt any remaining chocolate chips in the microwave and drizzle on tip for a fancy look or sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
