Apple crumb bread

  • 1.5 cup AP flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder.
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder.
  • 2 large eggs.
  • A dash of vanilla powder.
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar.
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar.
  • 3 Tablespoon powdered milk. dried
  • 1/2 cup oil.
  • 1.5 cup peeled and shredded or diced apple.
  • 1/2 cup pecan pieces.
  • 1/3 cup flour.
  • 3 Tablespoon cold butter diced.
  • 2 Tablespoon granulated sugar.
  • 2 Tablespoon light brown sugar.
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
  1. preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan and set aside.
  2. In your blender, add eggs, vanilla, blend then add sugars and blend well.
  3. Add the oil and blend.
  4. Add the milk, blend.
  5. In a bowl, mix flour,cinnamon, salt and baking powder with a fork.
  6. Mix in the apple and pecan until well coated.
  7. Add the egg mixture to the flour mixture.
  8. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
  9. Meanwhile make the topping by combining the flour,sugars and cinnamon in a medium bowl.
  10. Cut in the butter with your hand until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs
  11. After the 30 minutes, take the pan out of the oven and sprinkle the crumbs over. Return to the oven and bake for another 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  12. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes then invert onto a wire rack and let it cool completely.
