  • Air fryer

  • 1 teaspoon Salt, or to your liking
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon minced garlic , about 3 large garlic cloves.
  • 2 teaspoon fresh rosemary , minced.
  • 2 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • 2 teaspoon dry oregano
  • 3 Tablespoon olive oil
  • juice of one lime
  • 1.5 pound lamb chops

  • Combine marinade ingredients in a bowl and mix well until salt dissolves.
  • Pour over lamb and mix to coat well then marinate for 1 hour and up to 8 hours in your refrigerator.
  • Take the chops out and let them come to room temperature.
  • Place lamb chops on the air fryer, set temperature to 400°F.
  • Cook anywhere from 4-6 minutes each side depending on how you like your chops.
  • Rest chops for 4-5 minutes before cutting.

  • Use fresh rosemary and thyme, do not use dried.
  • You can use either lime or lemon juice.
  • I do not like using extra virgin olive oil in this recipe so I used a regular olive oil.
  • You can add some cayenne pepper for extra heat.
  • For medium rare chops, cook for 4 minutes each side. For well done, go for 6 minutes per side. The exact cooking time will vary according to the thickness of the lamb chops but for food safety, it is recommended that the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F.
  • The air fryer might smoke and this is normal especially if you are making them in batches. Refer to your owner's manual if needed.
  • To Store:
    • Cooked leftover lamb chops can stay refrigerated for up to 3 days or for two months in the freezer. Thaw then reheat thoroughly.
  • Make Ahead:
    • These chops can stay marinated for up to 24 hours, just make sure to leave the lime juice out until an hour or two before cooking.
