Ginger Latte
A warming spicy coffee drink to wake up your sense in the morning or any time of the day. Ready in less than 5 minutes with simple and fresh ingredients.

- 2 cups milk of choice
- 1 Tablespoon instant coffee or to your liking
- 1 Tablespoon brown sugar light or dark
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4 whole cloves
- 1 piece of ginger root about 1 ½ inches
In a pot mix together all the latte ingredients.
Heat the mixture on medium until it bubbles.
Strain and serve garnished with whipping cream.
- Use any coffee you like, instant coffee, espresso or Turkish coffee.
- Brown sugar gives this recipe a distinct flavor but you can use any sweetener of choice.
- Use can use any milk in this recipe - whole milk, cashew, coconut milk, almond milk - experiment and see which you prefer.
