Golden Crispy chicken strips

Ingredients

pounds
boneless skinless chicken breasts
cut into stripes against the grain.*
For the marinade:

teaspoon
garlic salt.

garlic cloves
crushed.
½
teaspoon
Italian seasoning.
½
teaspoon
paprika.

freshly ground black pepper.

cup
flour.

cornstarch.

Tablespoons
yogurt.

teaspoon
onion powder.

teaspoon
tomato paste.

Tablespoon
ketchup.

Tablespoons
vinegar.
½
teaspoon
salt
or to taste.

For coating:

cups
flour.

cup
cornstarch.

teaspoon
Baking Powder.
½
teaspoon
salt.
½
teaspoon
turmeric.

teaspoon
freshly ground black pepper.

Oil for frying
Instructions
In a deep bowl combine all the marinade ingredients and stir well.
Add the chicken and marinade for at least for 3 hours and preferably over night.
When ready to fry, heat about 2 cups of oil to 365 degrees in a frying pan.
In a bowl, combine coating ingredients and stir well.
Remove chicken pieces from marinade. Coat chicken all around with the above mixture but do not press tightly.
Fry chicken pieces from 2-4 minutes per side depending on its size.
Serve hot and ENJOY!!
