Ingredients

For the dough

  • 2 1/4 cup AP. flour.
  • Pinch of salt.
  • 3/4 cup water.
  • Oil to cover the dough and we'll use it later for frying.

For the filling

  • 1 1/2 cup semolina.
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar.
  • 6 cup water.

optional

  • 1/2 Tbsp orange blossom water. OR
  • 10 mastic crushed.

For garnishing

  • Confectioners sugar and crushed pistachios.

Instructions

  • Mix flour and salt in your mixer bowl and gradually add water until the dough gets separated from the sides of the bowl.
