BBQ Chicken Flatbread Pizza

Ingredients

For the chicken:

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into ½ inch cubes
  • ½ Tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the pizza:

  • 4 flatbread pizza base
  • 2-3 Tablespoons BBQ sauce per pizza
  • 1 medium red onion sliced.
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese per pizza or to your liking
  • 2 Tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

Cook the chicken:

  • In a bowl combine chicken spice together then add chicken and toss to coat.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium high heat add the chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes or until done.

Assemble the pizza and bake:

  • Preheat oven to 400F.
  • In a small bowl combine olive oil and garlic powder then brush the pizzas with the mixture.
  • Spread bbq sauce over pizza base and top with mozzarella cheese.
  • Divide cooked chicken over the pizzas along with the red onion slices.
  • Bake in the center of your oven for 10 minutes until edges are golden brown and crispy.
