Chicken Sloppy Joe

- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- ½ medium onion finely diced
- 1 small green bell pepper chopped
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
- ½ Tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 can (15oz) tomato sauce
- ½ teaspoon salt or to taste
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
In a large skillet heat oil over medium high heat then add onion and bell pepper and cook for 2 minutes.
Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Add ground chicken and cook until no longer look raw.
Add Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard, tomato sauce, salt and pepper.
Bring mixture to a boil then reduce heat to medium and simmer for 10 minutes or until sauce thickens.
Taste to check seasoning.
Serve over toasted buns
