Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Steak Bites

To die for beef steak that really makes a restaurant quality dinner. This slow cooker beef is cooked with a simple homemade honey sauce until it’s deliciously tender and infused all over with incredible glares.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 pounds Beef steak cut into 1 inch cubes
  • ¾ Tablespoon minced garlic cloves 3-4 garlic cloves
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • cup soy sauce low sodium
  • ½ teaspoon dry oregano

For finishing:

  • 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
  • Sesame seeds
  • Green onions or scallions

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients except for the beef and oil to the slow cooker and mix well.
  • In a large skillet over medium high heat, heat sesame oil.
  • Sear beef cubes in all directions until browned.
  • Pour beef with the liquids into your slow cooker and mix with the other ingredients.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
  • Check thickness 15 minutes before it ends cooking. If it is thinner than what you want dissolve cornstarch in a couple of tablespoons of tap water and pour it over the meat then stir. Let it finish cooking for the remaining time.
  • Serve garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onion
