- 1 package refrigerated cheese tortellini 18-24 ounces
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 2 Tablespoons oil any light tasting oil
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1 ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 ¼ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- Salt to taste
- 2 cups Mozzarella cheese shredded
Cook tortellini 1 minute shy of the package directions, drain. Place tortellini in a 13x9 baking dish.
Preheat oven to 350F.
In a large skillet over medium heat add butter and oil .
When butter melts, add garlic and saute until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Pour in cream and season with Italian seasoning and black pepper. Whisk gently for a couple of minutes.
Add parmesan cheese and continue to whisk until melted.
Taste to adjust seasoning.
Pour Sauce over the tortellini and mix to distribute well.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and bake in the center of your oven for 15-20 minutes until cheese melts and bubbly.
Leave it for longer if you want the top to be golden brown.
