How to Dry Parsley (2 minutes)

It is super easy to dry parsley and other herbs as well and preserve their flavor and color. All you need is your microwave and 2-3 minutes.

Ingredients

  • Parsley as much as you like

Instructions

  • Clean parsley and pat dry with a paper towel as much as you can.
  • Cut leaves and place them on a microwave safe plate or a paper plate.
  • Microwave for 2-3 minutes, depending on your microwave power, until they become dry.
  • Carefully take the plate out, watch out as it will be hot. Leave the plate on your counter until it cools down.
  • Crumble with your fingers or leave as is and place in an airtight container.

Notes

  • Some leaves might stick a bit to your plate but they come off easily, just make sure to dry them as much as you can before microwaving.
  • Dehydrated parsley can last up to a year if stored preopely.
