Peach Iced Tea
A delightful and refreshing iced tea perfectly infused with peach syrup and sweetened to your preference. A classic comfort brewed black tea with a juicy slice of peach on the side, this is the perfect summer sip.

For the tea:
- 6 cups water
- 6 bags of tea or 6 teaspoons loose tea
Peach syrup:
- 1 ½ cups diced peaches
- 1 cup water
- ¼ cup sugar
Make the syrup:
Add peaches, water, and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a simmer until peaches get soft.
Break the peaches with a fork then continue to cook for about 10 minutes.
Strain the mixture and set aside.
Brew the tea:
Boil 4 cups of water in a saucepan, turn heat off and add tea bags.
Let it steep for 5 minutes.
Remove tea bags.
Add peach syrup and the remaining water.
Taste to adjust sweetness.
Chill in the fridge until cold.
Serve with ice, peach slices and mint if desired.
- For my husband the tea needed no more sugar, for me the whole batch needed about ¼ cup extra sugar. So you will need to taste and adjust the sugar level to your liking.
