Shawarma Seasoning

A bold, warm blend of Middle Eastern spices that brings authentic shawarma flavor to your meal! Perfect for chicken, beef, lamb, or vegetables, this mix is rich and smoky, with slightly tangy notes just like your favorite street food.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 Tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 Tablespoon coriander
  • 1 Tablespoon ground cloves
  • 1 Tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sumac
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon cardamom
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric

Instructions

  • In a bowl combine all the ingredients and mix well.
  • Place in a jar with a fitted lid and store in a dark cool place.

Notes

  • Use to season your shawarma instead of store bought seasoning in any shawarma recipe. My recommendation is to use 1 Tablespoon per two pounds of meat along with other ingredients in the recipe.
