Slow Cooker Chicken Gyros
A Mediterranean restaurant quality Chicken Gyros with minimal effort that is going to be your family's favorite weeknight meal. Juicy chicken wrapped in warm pita, crowned with crisp veggies and creamy tzatziki. Who can resist?!

For the chicken:
- 2 pounds chicken thighs boneless skinless
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 1 Tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 3 Tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 2 Tablespoon Greek yogurt
- 1 ½ Tablespoons dry oregano
- 1 teaspoon dry basil
- 1 teaspoon salt or to taste
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
For serving:
- Fresh tomatoes diced
- Cucumber diced
- Tzatziki sauce
- Pita bread or flat bread
In the slow cooker add all the marinade ingredients and mix well.
Mix in and coat well with the marinade.
Cook chicken for 3-4 hours on high or 5-6 hours on low.
Take the chicken out on a cutting board and cut chicken thigh into thick strips.
Warm up the pita, spread some tomatoes and cucumber in the middle then top with chicken and tzatziki and serve.
