Pineapple Banana smoothie

Quick, healthy breakfast for a delicious boost in the morning or as a healthy snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1 banana ripe is best
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt vanilla flavored
  • ½ cup pineapple juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional:

  • 1 Tablespoon honey
  • More juice if needed

Instructions

  • To your blender, add pineapple, banana, yogurt, juice and vanilla extract.
  • Blend until smooth, taste and add honey if you want it.
  • Pour into cups and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can use fresh pineapples but in this case you will need to add some ice and adjust flavor and sweetness. Or you can use frozen bananas.
  • Do not use frozen bananas along with frozen pineapple this will lead to a smoothie with a loose ice cream texture.
