- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon sugar
- 2 Tablespoons lime juice
- 2 Tablespoons oil
- ½ onion thinly sliced
- ½ red bell pepper thinly sliced
- ½ green bell pepper thinly sliced
- ½ cup salsa use your favorite
- 1 12- inch pizza dough refrigerated or homemade
- 1 ½ cups Monterey cheese shredded
In a bowl add seasoning and mix well.
Add chicken breasts and coat evenly with seasoning, marinate for 30 minutes.
In a large skillet over medium high heat, heat one tablespoon of oil. Add chicken breasts and cook until crispy and browned, flip and brown the other side as well.
Remove chicken from pan and add the other tablespoon of oil.
Add onions, sliced bell peppers and cook for a minute.
Cut chicken into ½ inch strips.
Heat oven to 400F
Pre bake your pizza dough for 7 minutes.
Remove pizza pan from oven, spoon salsa and distribute evenly on the crust.
Arrange chicken and vegetables on top then sprinkle cheese on top.
Bake for 11-15 minutes until crust is dark and golden brown.
