Homemade garlic oil is basically garlic-infused oil that can be used in your favorite recipes.

- 1 garlic head
- 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
- Fresh herbs like rosemary thyme or bay leaves
In a small saucepan, place whole cloves of garlic. fresh herbs then pour olive oil over.
Heat on medium heat until it boils then reduce heat. Continue cooking on low heat for 15 more minutes.
Turn heat off and let it cool down completely.
Remove garlic and pour oil in a jar with a fitted lid.
- Keep stirring and watch out for the garlic so it does not brown too much as this will make the oil taste bitter.
