- Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl add cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic, old bay seasoning, lemon juice and beat with an electric mixer until fully combined and creamy.

Lump and claw crabmeat are not normally interchangeable. Claw crabmeat comes from the claws and is usually a bolder flavor, a grainier texture and can be a darker color. Lump crabmeat is preferred for most crabmeat dishes.
Of course, however it will not have the same taste as lump crabmeat. Although imitation crab meat is budget-friendly, it is also highly processed with added sugar, corn starch, coloring and minced white fish.
To ensure that the lump crab meat is well-drained, squeeze or press down on it to remove excess water or your crab dip may turn out runny.

- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1 garlic cloves minced
- 1 ¾ teaspoon old bay seasoning
