I ended up making it all on the stove-top. I cooked my pasta separately and added it in at the end (obviously I didn't use the 2 cups of water). I also using 1/2 cup of sun dried tomatoes and 4 cups of spinach. Thanks for the recipe Amira.
Lynn
I made to recipe- but substituted Italian sausage and added the spices to the mixture. I didn’t have any garlic so substituted garlic powder…. So good! Definitely a keeper. Thank you.

Tuscan chicken says that the boiling water is added to cook the pasta but there is no amount of water in the ingredients?

After chicken Is cooked, it states to turn oven off. Is the oven off for the next steps?
Amira
Charlotte, you cook the chicken on stove top then turn stove heat off. You'll put the skillet in the oven to finish cooking. I hope this helps.
Mary Ingram
I was wondering when to add chicken if it is already cooked as in rotisserie chicken.
Amira
Start from step 2 and add all ingredients together then continue as directed. Thanks

Amira
I haven't tried that but I bet you can.

I don't have a skillet that can go into the oven. Could I just continue the cooking on top of the stove? Or should I put it into a casserole dish and then into the oven?
Amira
You can do any, whatever is easier for you.

Lauren
Do you have the recipe for your homemade Alfredo sauce?
Amira
Hi Lauren yes I do have a quick and easy Alfredo sauce without cream. Thanks
Joyce
So once you turn the oven off (in step 2) you don't need to turn it on again? It seems like the boiling water will not be able to cook the pasta if the oven is off. And will there be enough heat still to melt the mozzarella? Just making sure!?!
Amira
Joyce, you turn the heat off on the stove not turn the oven off. I hope this is clear now. Thanks for asking.
