📝 Ingredients you'll need
Note: This is an overview of the ingredients. You'll find the full measurements and instructions in the recipe card (printable) at the bottom of the page.
📋 Ingredient Notes
- Beef steak - Look for a steak with good marbling, this will ensure you have nice and tender steak bites.
- Oil - Any neutral flavored oil will work. I've used olive oil, vegetable oil, and canola oil and it's all worked well.
- Unsalted butter - You can use salted butter also, however, if you use it reduce the amount of salt that you use to season your steak.
- Garlic cloves - Fresh garlic cloves give this easy recipe the best flavor, however, you can also jar minced garlic or garlic powder instead.
- Fresh rosemary - Look for rosemary that is still green and fragrant for the best taste.
- Black pepper and salt - These basic seasonings will add a great flavor to your steak.

💡 Amira's Tips
- Make sure that you cut the steak pieces into even bite-sized pieces so that they cook at the same rate.
- It's important that you use a hot skillet for a beautiful sear on the outside of your steak bites. Don't rush the preheating process.
- Place the steak bites in a single layer in your skillet so that they brown evenly.
- Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the bites so that you don't overcook them.
🧺 Storage
Refrigerate - Store leftover steak bites in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
Freeze - One great thing about this recipe is that you can freeze the leftover steak for later. Store them in the freezer-safe bag or container for up to three months. Thaw in the fridge overnight before reheating.
Reheat - The best way to reheat steak is to place it in a skillet over medium heat until warmed through. You can also use the microwave, but the texture may not be as good.
⌛ Make Ahead
These steak bites are best served fresh. However, if you want to save a little time on a busy night, feel free to cut the steak up and store it in a bowl or bag until you get home and ready to cook dinner.
