Your questions answered: FAQs

Is a frappe and a milkshake the same thing?

No, a frappe and a milkshake are different! Although they might look similar, a frappe typically includes an ice base, whereas a milkshake has an ice cream base.

How do I make a thick milkshake?

To make a thick milkshake, use a higher ice cream-to-milk ratio. Add the milk slowly until you get the consistency that you desire.

My notes

  • I like to use a high-powered blender. If you have a regular blender, you will need to blend the shake for a longer period of time.
  • Add the cocoa powder to suit your tastes.
  • Don't forget to chill your glass before serving! A cold glass can help keep your milkshake thick and frosty.

Perfect pairings: what to serve with

I like to serve milkshakes with a Big Juicy Burger or a Mushroom Swiss Burger, along with a side of these Frozen Fries made in the Air Fryer. It's a classic American meal that is always satisfying.
