- Use store-bought fudge or this easy hot fudge sauce.
- Do not microwave the fudge, as it says on the jar if it is store-bought. This will warm it up too much, and when poured over the ice cream, it will make a mess, and the ice cream will melt.
- It helps to dip a clean knife into hot water and wipe it dry before slicing. This will give you beautiful, smooth, and clean cuts. Rewarm the knife between cuts.
- If you do not have a food processor, you can put the Oreo cookies in a sealed bag and break them with a rolling pin until finely crushed.
- You can use a stand mixer or a hand mixer to mix the ice cream.
