- In a large skillet over medium-high heat add oil and sauté onion for 3 minutes or until translucent. Add ground beef breaking it apart and brown until no longer pink.
- Add diced pepper and cook for another couple of minutes.
- Add beans and all other ingredients, mix well, and taste to adjust the seasoning.
- Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 baking dish, cover, and bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 45 minutes. Uncover and continue to bake for another 10-15 minutes or until the mixture is bubbly and thick. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
