An easy and quick low carb appetizer for parties and get togethers. Change up the cream cheese filling for a different flavor each time.

Easy to make and easy to eat salami roll ups are among the favorite low carb/keto party appetizers. Flavorful Salami rolled around herb loaded and fresh cream cheese and topped with a salty delicious olive. A feast in your mouth.

  1. In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, dill and chives.
  2. Spoon 1 to 2 teaspoons of cream cheese mixture in one end of the salami and roll up.
  3. Thread one olive onto a toothpick and use to secure the roll-up.

💡 Tips

  • You can use either black or green olives.

🧺 Storage

Place leftovers in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.

⌛ Make Ahead

Roll ups can be made ahead, then wrapped in plastic film and refrigerate for up to 4 days before serving.

👩‍🍳 Variations

  • Add chopped pickles to your cream cheese mixture.
  • Use grape tomatoes instead of olives.
  • Use different chopped fresh herbs like parsley, cilantro, oregano.. etc
  • Chop up some bell pepper and add to the cream cheese mixture.
  • What about some chopped up sun dried tomatoes.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese room temperature
  • 6 oz sliced large salami about 20-25.
  • 4-5 Tablespoons finely chopped fresh dill about 0.3 oz
  • 3-4 tablespoons finely chopped fresh chives about 0.25oz
  • 20-25 pitted olives.

Instructions

    Just discovered you and have already pinned a lot of your recipes. My family makes something similar, we just smear the salami with cream cheese and add a little pepperoncini slices, then roll-up.
