❤️ Why You'll Love It

  • The main ingredients of this recipe are all easy to find at your local grocery stores, so you don't have to worry about visiting a specialty store.
  • This is the perfect dipping sauce for everything from french fries to hot dogs, or even chicken nuggets. The dipping choices are unlimited.
  • There is no need to spend lots of money on specialty sauces since this sauce uses a few simple ingredients that you may already have in your house to make your own.

The secret to this delicious sauce is the perfect balance between heat and creaminess. With just the right amount of spice, it adds a kick to any dish without overpowering it.

📝 Ingredients

Note: This is an overview of the ingredients. You'll find the full measurements and instructions in the recipe card (printable) at the bottom of the page.

Ingredients for the sauce on a white surface.

📋 Ingredient Notes

  • Mayonnaise - You can use your favorite brand of mayonnaise or make your own at home.
  • Sriracha sauce - This popular hot sauce adds a delicious spicy kick to this creamy sauce.
  • Lemon juice - The acidity of lemon juice helps balance out the richness of the mayo and adds a bright, tangy flavor.
  • Honey - Honey adds some sweetness to help balance out the spice in this delicious sauce recipe.
  • Salt - Salt is optional but it can help add some additional flavor to your sauce.

🥄 Instructions

Note: This is an overview of the instructions. The detailed instructions are in the recipe card below.

Instructions for making the sauce.
  • In a medium bowl, stir together the sauce ingredients until smooth.
  • Add salt if desired.

💡Amira's Tips

  • The best thing about this recipe is that since you are adding the sriracha yourself, you can adjust the spice level by adding more or less of this spicy sauce.
  • The honey adds a touch of sweetness to your sriracha mayo sauce recipe, however, if you don't have honey you can use maple syrup, or even sugar instead.
  • For a healthier version swap out the mayo for plain Greek yogurt.

🧺 Storage

Store your sriracha mayo sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week. I like to use a glass mason jar to help keep it fresh, and I don't have to worry about the color of the sauce staining a glass container.

⌛ Make Ahead

This delicious spicy mayo recipe is great when made ahead the flavors develop more over time. So, feel free to make a big batch and store it in the fridge so that you always have it ready when you want this dipping sauce.

🍽️ Serve With

This sriracha mayo dip is a great condiment to serve with so many different items. From a topping on these Baja Shrimp Tacos or even as the perfect condiment on Frozen Burgers In The Air Fryer there are so many great ways to use this spicy sauce.

These Frozen Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries are another great item to dip into the delicious sauce.

👩‍🍳 Variations

  • Out of lime juice? Use lemon juice instead to add the citrus flavor to this delicious condiment.
  • Want to add some extra flavor to this spicy sauce? Add ⅓ teaspoon of garlic powder or some minced fresh garlic.
  • Do you want to add some additional heat to this spicy mayo sauce? Try adding a dash of Tabasco sauce or any type of hot sauce that you enjoy.
  • Want to make a vegan sriracha mayo? Use your favorite vegan mayo to make this popular condiment.

These two sauces can be the same thing, however spicy mayo can be made with just hot sauce or chili peppers instead.

Sriracha ranges from 1000-2500 Scoville units. This is less than traditional hot sauce.
