- Cook pasta , al dente, according to package directions reserving 1 cup of the cooking water. In a mini food processor add ½ cup of the pasta water, tahini, garlic, lemon juice and zest.
- Process until well combined, check consistency and taste to adjust salt.
- Toss pasta with tahini sauce adding more water if needed.

Tahini pasta sauce
Ingredients
- 1 cup tahini paste
- 1 cup warm pasta water
- Juice and zest of 1 lemon
- 1 garlic clove minced
- Salt and pepper to your liking
- 1 lb pasta of your choice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Cook pasta , al dente, according to package directions reserving 1 cup of the cooking water.
- In a mini food processor add ½ cup of the pasta water, tahini, garlic, lemon juice and zest.
- Process until well combined.
- Check the consistency if you feel it is too thick mix in more water one table spoon at a time.
- Taste and adjust salt and pepper to your liking.
- Drain pasta, rinse with cold water then toss with olive oil
- Toss pasta with tahini sauce adding more water if needed.
