- In a large bowl, mix together chicken, oregano, garlic, salt and pepper. Sprinkle flour over and coat chicken pieces well.
- In a deep pot over medium-high heat melt butter. Add chicken and cook, stirring occasionally until nicely browned, about 5 minutes. Pour in chicken stock and bring to a boil.
- Mix in tortellini, cover and let it cook on medium for 5-7 minutes.
- Uncover, pour heavy cream and parmesan cheese if using, stir and continue to simmer for 5 minutes or until sauce has thickened.

- If you are short in time you can use store-bought creamy Alfredo sauce or this homemade Alfredo sauce.

- If you do not have oregano you can use Italian seasoning instead.

- 1½ cups heavy whipping cream
- ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese optional
