- Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat then add in the tomato sauce and mix well.
- Add the cream cheese, breaking it apart to mix in with the ingredients in the skillet.
- Turn the heat off and mix in the hash browns.
- Pour the ground beef mixture into the prepared casserole dish. Bake the whole casserole for 45 minutes in a preheated oven.
- Spread cheese over the top of the casserole and return to oven for another 5-10 minutes or until cheese melts.

- You can use milk instead of tomato sauce too.
- I’ve used my trusted seasoned ground beef recipe in this one, but often times I add Italian seasoning as well.

Refrigerate- Allow to come to room temperature, then cover tightly with plastic wrap or place in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
Freeze- Cover tightly and freeze for up to 3 months.
Reheat— If frozen, thaw in the fridge and reheat in the oven. You can also reheat individual portions in a frying pan.

Hamburger hashbrown casserole
Ingredients
- 2 pounds seasoned ground beef
- 1 block cream cheese (8 ounces)
- 1 can tomato sauce (15oz)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bag (30oz) frozen hash brown potatoes thawed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F and lightly spray a 13x9 oven dish with oil.
- Cook the ground beef in a large skillet on medium heat, then add in the tomato sauce and mix well.
- Add the cream cheese breaking it apart to mix in with the ingredients in the skillet.
- Turn heat off and mix in the hash browns.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared casserole dish and bake for 45minutes or until hash browns are golden brown and cooked.
- Sprinkle cheese on top and return to oven for another 5-10 minutes or until cheese melts and bubbly.
