Enjoy a free, 5-day meal plan of delicious meals for you and your family. Meal plan is a great way to ease your days, relax, save time while making sure your family is getting hot home-cooked meals every night.
I've been sharing 5-day meal plans with my email subscribers for many years now, started sharing some of those on Instagram and I love the feedback I get from those who love the meal plans and use them regularly.
If you’re new to my meal plans, they normally include 5 dinner recipes and one or two desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth. I'm trying my best to be thoughtful and add a variety of recipes with plenty of wiggle room for you to add or subtract food and I always suggest you make a day per week for leftovers or use them for lunch the next day.
Food Days This Week
This week we are having some interesting and fun days to celebrate. These days are a good opportunity to raise awareness, shed some light, or inspire you to create more recipes in your kitchen. So let's check them out:
- October 12 is National Pumpkin Pie Day, enjoy a flaky phyllo crust, layered with butter and a silky well spiced pumpkin pie.
- October 13: Yorkshire Pudding Day, which is not an actual pudding like the dessert that we know. It is an English baked pudding made of a pancake like batter, we love Yorkshire Pudding so much and stuff it with all sorts of things.
- October 14: National Dessert Day and I sure have a lot for you to choose from!
In Season Now
We are stepping deep into fall and there are still lots of good things in season like endive, beans, chicory, potato, pumpkins, peas, winter squash, spinach and celery.
Try this eggplant grilled cheese for meatless Monday. Bread and layers of pizza sauce, grilled eggplants, mushroom and cheese. Very easy to make and so tasty.
I have to say that this chicken shawarma is like no other. This has got the seal of approval from over than 50 people that I know of, a must try.
Easy to throw together, a one pot chicken and yellow rice recipe is for dinner tonight.
Keto shrimp scampi is the easiest yet fanciest dish of all - tender shrimp baked with butter, garlic and lemon juice. Just 5 min prep!
