I've been sharing 5-day meal plans with my email subscribers for many years now, started sharing some of those on Instagram and I love the feedback I get from those who love the meal plans and use them regularly.
If you’re new to my meal plans, they normally include 5 dinner recipes and one or two desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth. I'm trying my best to be thoughtful and add a variety of recipes with plenty of wiggle room for you to add or subtract food and I always suggest you make a day per week for leftovers or use them for lunch the next day.
Food Days This Week
This week we are having some interesting and fun days to celebrate. These days are a good opportunity to raise awareness, shed some light, or inspire you to create more recipes in your kitchen. So let's check them out:
- April 19 is National Garlic Day, think about all the garlicky foods we love. Garlic bread, eggplant with garlic sauce and garlic chicken. If you feel as strongly about garlic as we do, it is time to make this delicious toum (garlic sauce).
- April 21st is National tea day, tea is my love language. Try one of these recipes either this Cardamom tea or a more exotic spiced Karak tea.

Asparagus, avocado, beets, broccoli, cabbage, leek, lemon, lime, oranges, pear, persimmon, and much more.
Monday
Baked Feta Pasta
Have you tried the tiktok feta pasta or not yet?. It is so delicious and kids approved. I like making it with colorful pasta for it to be even more exciting.
Tuesday
Moussaka
Make Moussaka tonight, you can make it low carb and skip the bechamel layer. This goes very well with a loaf of homemade pita bread.
Tzatziki Sauce
I like serving homemade tzatziki as a side with moussaka, the perfect pairing.
Wednesday
Persian Soup
We are still getting some wintry snowy days here. Try this out of the norm Persian soup packed full with flavors. Rich, meaty with fresh herbs and the topping is so unique.
Air Fryer Garlic Bread
This air fryer garlic bread is great with any soup you have. Ready in just few minutes.
Thursday
Beef and Potato
Mbattan El Lahm is a ground beef and potato casserole but not like any other potato casserole. Potato stuffed with kofta mixture, dusted with flour and fried. Comfort food at its best.
Friday
Ground Turkey Sandwiches
End the week with an easy ground turkey sandwiches. A healthier version of the classic Merchant's pocket sandwiches that are usually done with ground beef or lamb.
Desserts
Instant Pot Rice Pudding
This is the easiest rice pudding you can make because you are going to make it in the Instant pot...so creamy and sweet.
