- Pizza crust: Make your own pizza dough or use a store-bought crust.
- Sauce: Use your favorite pizza sauce.
- Mozzarella cheese: Shredded pizza cheese to top your pizza.
- Shrimp: Most grocery stores have shrimp readily available in the seafood area.
- Calamari rings: Usually available at your grocer's seafood area or frozen section.
- Butter: Unsalted is best so you can control how much salt is added to the pizza.
- Salt: Brings out flavors of the food.
- Garlic: A staple in Mediterranean cooking; sauté it with your seafood.
- Onion: I used red onions, but you could use a sweet white onion as well.

- Parsley or fresh basil: Optional topping to garnish pizza.

- Heat butter over medium heat in a large skillet then add shrimp and cook 30 seconds on each side.
- Add calamari and cook for another 30 seconds. Season mixture with salt and pepper. Add garlic and keep cooking for 30 seconds.
- After removing skillet from the heat, drain any excess liquid and set aside.
- Spread your favorite sauce over pizza base on the pizza pan.
- Top with the mozzarella cheese.
- Scatter seafood mixture, bell pepper slices and olive halves placed cut side down. Bake on a pizza stone or baking sheet in a preheated oven according to your crust instructions.

- You can use any seafood combination you like, you can make it all shrimp, add some crab meat or omit the calamari if you do not like it.

- Use any bell pepper color(s) you like.
- Most of my family liked the pizza with Alfredo sauce, but one of my kids like it with tomato sauce, so you might want to make both and see what your family likes more of.

- 1 store-bought or homemade 12" pizza crust
- ⅓ cup Alfredo sauce or any pizza sauce you like.
- 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese shredded
- 4 oz medium raw shrimp, shelled and deveined
- 4 oz calamari rings
- 2 Tablespoons butter unsalted
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 garlic clove crushed
- ½ small red onion sliced
- ½ bell pepper sliced, any color or color combination you like
- ¼ cup Kalamata olives pitted and sliced in half.
To garnish:
- Chopped parsley or basil leaves
