- In the bowl of a mini food processor add all the ingredients.
- Pulse until everything is mixed well and cilantro is finely chopped. Taste to adjust seasoning.
💡Tips
- It helps to add water and lemon juice to the food processor before adding the tahini so it does not get stuck to the bottom of the bowl.
- For a thicker consistency start by 2 Tablespoons of water and add little by little until you reach your desired consistency.
- If you end up with a thinner consistency than you would like to add a little but more tahini paste.
- I’ve doubled the cilantro as this is how we like it, so feel free to double or even triple.
- You can use fresh garlic instead of garlic powder.
- Tahini is a paste made with ground sesame seeds and some oil. You can easily make tahini paste at home or find it in your nearby grocery store.
